Starting your treatment journey can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to go it alone. At the Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH), we understand the power of shared experience. That’s why we created the Patient Ambassador Program, connecting new and prospective patients with former MIBH participants who truly understand the road ahead.

What Is the Patient Ambassador Program?

Our ambassadors are former MIBH patients who have gone through both the evaluation and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Each ambassador offers unique insight, having personally experienced the path you’re considering or about to begin. They come from diverse backgrounds—veterans, first responders, and civilians alike—but all share one thing in common: a commitment to helping others heal.

About ambassadors

• Each possess first-hand knowledge & experience of program and treatment
• Can meet virtually or in-person
• Come from a variety of backgrounds
• Can meet prior to eval and in between eval and IOP
